Help Wanted

We’re looking for a few people to help build and maintain this site.

If you have experience in 3D or CAM, gunsmithing, or WP, there are a few openings for Administrator and Editor positions.

Author and Contributor positions are also available.

A Mission Statement. Sort Of.

“A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

For many people, the words above are just a single part of a greater document that guarantees the people of the United States certain rights and freedoms granted to no other people in a Government document with an intent so concise and clear, and words and ideas so powerful, that up the time of it’s writing, was unlike any formal document pruduced by a Government outlining it’s promise to ensure and maintain the rights and freedoms of the people under it’s protection.

Even though the style of language used is a cause of contention today, the intent of the Ammendment is clearly stated and explained in the writings of the people involved in it’s actual drafting. And to further protect the rights of the people, the clear, concise and direct language of the 4th ammendment states;

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

To be secure in one’s self, house, and property, the people must be allowed to maintain the means for self defense against any and all that may violate that right. To call for the blanket confiscation of all or any weapons held and used lawfully violates the principle of probable cause, and at the very least calls for a sworn Warrant against each and every weapon held by every citizen in the country. Without such Warrant, the call for confiscation of weapons is nothing more than a calculated attempt to deny the rights of a free people.

The main object of the anti-gun movement is the “assault rifle”, a phantom of no clear definition. It has also been demonized as being “military style”. A better description would be “modern style”, as the design, operation and manufacturing techniques used to build it are as contemporary as the “brown bess” was in it’s time, or the original matchlocks were in their era. As state of the art advances in materials, manufacturing, and engineering, naturally the look of any product will change to match the curent level of industry manufacturing that item. Calling the AR platform a “military style assault weapon” is not only wrong, but calculated to generate an emotional response. It also puts the defender of the AR platform on an immediate disadvantage as you have allowed the enemy of the 2nd ammendment to define the terms of the argument by the intentional mislabeling of what is simply a rifle designed and manufactured using modern tools and techniques.

Two of these modern manufacturing techniques are CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing), and 3D printing. This site will host files for both of these technologies, and related software.

Nowhere here will you find ANY plans for “assault weapons”. You will find designs for modern style weapons including AR platform, AK platform, and other types for use with modern manufacturing techniques.
